Applications

Removing suspended solids where it matters most.

Solutions for SWD front-end operations, produced water recycle and reuse, pump protection, and tank or pit cleanout — matched to the right micron rating for each point in your process.

01 · start at 50 µm

SWD front end

A produced water strainer removes 94–96% of suspended solids at a given micron, including iron sulfides. That means fewer tank cleanouts, better oil/water separation, more oil recovered, and reduced or eliminated chemical treatment. Field testing on skimmed tank material put 50 micron as the right starting point here — one unit, no staging.

02 · 300–500 µm

Recycle / reuse facility

Reducing solids — suspended particulates, proppants, formation fines, iron sulfide, scale, and corrosion products — at a recycle or reuse facility delivers real operational, economic, environmental, and regulatory advantages, and produces cleaner water for frac reuse.

03 · 50–300 µm

Between charge pump and H-pump

Placing the self-cleaning strainer between the charge pump and H-pump protects high-pressure components from damaging solids — extending pump life, reducing wear, and lowering well maintenance requirements.

04 · 300–500 µm+

Tank / pit cleaning

Solids accumulation in ASTs or pits leads to sludge buildup, frequent pump-outs, and downtime. Screening incoming flows prevents the buildup — reducing or even eliminating routine tank cleaning, and de-sludging pits in recirculation loops.

The payoff

What effective solids reduction does downstream.

Fewer cleanouts

Upstream removal stops sludge before it builds, cutting tank cleaning, pump-outs, and the downtime that comes with them.

Longer asset life

Less fouling on pumps, exchangers, separators, membranes, valves, and injection systems — fewer acid jobs and lower OPEX.

Lower chemical & disposal cost

Less solids means lower chemical demand, less sludge to handle, and reduced trucking and disposal fees.

Better reuse water

Cleaner water improves frac compatibility, cuts formation damage risk, and makes advanced treatment more efficient.

Regulatory & ESG fit

Less sludge and trucking supports recycling targets and Texas Railroad Commission expectations.

Hands-off operation

dP-triggered cleaning with HMI and remote access — reliable, automated, and continuous even during purge.
